Johtan Apple BBQ Sauce
Johtan is a small town in the Low Forest of Oreaha who grows more apples
then any where else in the world. The wealthy all over the world pay high
fees for the apples grown in this small town to be shipped to them. These
wealthy persons often employ apprentice mages to keep ‘freshness’
enchantments on their apples during the long voyages.
The largest orchard is the by far the most famous. The Little Creek Orchard
is known through out the established trade routes of the world. It has
belonged to one family for many hundreds of years and is responsible for
many unique kinds of apples. Because of the number of apples they grow
almost everything they make has apples somewhere in the recipe. One wife
even sought to make a recipe book for their customers to buy, but the
scribe quoted an exorbitant fee and the idea was dropped. One of the recipes
that has been given out to the public is the sauce they use to BBQ just
about anything.
2 cups diced onions
3 cups diced apples (Ida reds for preference)
3.5 cups diced tomatoes
1 cup diced green bell pepper
1.5 cup apple cider
1 tablespoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon cyan pepper

¼ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon ground mustard seeds
¼ cup sugar beet vinegar (or apple cider)
1/4 cup honey

runs in the food processor will be necessary. Pour into large saucepan
on medium to low heat and cook slowly for 2-3 hours, stirring ever 15
min.
